About Jenni Parker

Jenni is an award-winning designer, social innovator and systems thinker. Jenni is passionate about the power of human-centred design to develop solutions to some of the world's most pressing problems, and to transform the organisations that are at the front line of addressing these challenges. Jenni has over 12 years of experience in social innovation, having started her career at the Global Learning Centre of the UN Refugee Agency in 2011. She has led social design and innovation projects with organisations in the third, public and private sectors in the UK and internationally, and has carried out user research, co-creation and prototyping activities in 18 countries in 4 continents. She has tackled issues such as mental health, cancer, dementia, childhood obesity, disability, climate change, refugees, healthy ageing, education, SEND, children’s services, employment support, adult social care, HIV prevention, empowering women and girls, and citizen engagement. As well as working with clients to develop human-centred design solutions, Jenni works with delivery teams to develop and prototype new processes and ways of working that enable the successful delivery of innovative service experiences. Prior to founding Humanly, Jenni worked as an independent design consultant, and was awarded the title of Service Designer of the Year 2015 by the Young Digital Leader Awards.
