Nestled in on the west side of town, overlooking Vancouver Lake, The Humble Bee Pre-Kindergarten Preparatory School is a private, intimate and in-home preschool for children between the ages of 2 ½ and 5 years of age, designed to ease the transition into Kindergarten and begin the practice of mindfulness at an early age. THB is not your average preschool. We prefer to present early childhood learning experiences in their most pure and authentic form. Our approach encourages children to learn in a way that natural inclination might lead them to. We call it "new-schooling". Because balance is such an integral part of a child's growth, we prefer not to attach our preschool to a specific "type", rather draw from a wide range of successful philosophies, maximizing your child's exposure to varying learning styles, strategies and experiences. Meet the DirectorThe Humble Bee’s Director, Jennifer Johnson, was inspired to open her own private preschool in 2014, after spending over ten years in the field of public education, teaching and coaching. Jennifer obtained her Bachelor’s Degree in English and Language Arts and her Teaching Certification from Washington State University in 2006, where she graduated with Honors, Magna Cum Laude. She also studied International Business and Finance at Hawai’i Pacific University in Honolulu, Hawai’i. Jennifer has worked with students of every age and her breadth of experience in the field of education is wide. All of her experiences have come together to build a solid foundation in teaching and learning. She is a teacher who is always learning and growing, changing her approach based upon what she believes her students need and given the best current practices in education. You will find The Humble Bee to be a safe, warm and inviting environment that promotes learning, fosters creativity and is supported by a strong background in both the science and art of education. Anyone can "write". Very few, however, can do so with sophistication. The ability to provide your niche with that sweet nectar they so desperately crave, to craft language that moves another--to tears, to laughter, to think, to ACT--is ingenuity in its most naked form. As with any artistic form, a talent for such is the product of the creative mind, rooted in deep affection, ceaseless devotion and a dash of the enigmatic. And it is the talent that I have been gifted.​I am a writer, both by nature and by trade. Whatever the content may be, if the individual writing for you would not die tomorrow if forbidden to write again, then you must continue your pursuit, as you have not found an entity as passionate about his craft, her brand, their collective success as you are about yours.​Why put your faith in anyone other than an expert writer to create content, skillfully tailored and true to your brand vision?
