Reporting to the Director of Advancement Operations, in my role I developed and maintain a number of research profiles for various donor meetings and calls. I also maintain an organization wide donor pipeline of major gift donors and prospects which included key Volunteers and Sponsors. I lead the building and rollout of major Raiser's Edge policies and procedures as they related to coding and reporting practices necessary for a campaign. Hired, trained and managed a Prospect Research Intern for the Summer of 2017 who assists in doing reactive research and specific research projects. I regularly train staff and implement policies as they relate to proper prospect and pipeline management. Other duties include participating in developing the processes for consistent maintenance of Raiser's Edge and lead multiple training sessions for staff both in group and one-on-one to discuss effective coding practices.

Reporting to both the Principal Gifts Program Manager and the Director of Fundraising. Provided research notes and briefing materials for a variety of donor meetings, calls and events. Lead and implemented MSF Canada's Target Analytics project, working with Blackbaud Account Executives and MSF Canada's database account managers to provide support and guidance through the six month project. Developed and implemented the organizations prospect pipeline and provided training for donor relations, major gift and direct marketing staff. Additional responsibilities included:Provided leadership for the organization's database transition project, including helping to advise on the choice of databasesProvided data analytics and donor information for a variety of regional visits across Canada and provided support remotely during those visitsCompiled detailed briefing materials for each donor visit, including advising on capacity, connections and relevant interests, to best inform senior management and executive staff.Lead the implementation of appropriate database management practices, ensuring prospects and donors remained active through the prospect pipelineProvided a variety of reports and queries as per the needs of my team, including revenue and KPI reportingProvided leadership in data quality and data integration.

Worked within tight deadlines to build the organization’s new major giving program. This included providing extensive research profiles and high level strategy on a variety of individuals, foundations and corporations. Built, tested and delivered training sessions on prospect research, major giving and the fundraising cycle to guide development officers in creating materials for meetings and calls. From these materials, developed a set of organizational major gift policies and procedures. Additional responsibilities included:Built a major gift tracking system using various modules in The Raiser’s Edge, to help track and document donor engagement and built a prospect pool. Identified prospects and provided research and capacity ratings for various events, including stewardship dinners and special events.Provided one-on-one training sessions and acted as the contact for questions related to Raiser's Edge prospect tracking and data entry.Coordinated the organization’s fall stewardship event and acted as the point person for all inquiries related to the event. Reporting to the Campaign Manager and Vice President of Philanthropy, worked within tight deadlines to provide extensive profiles for senior management on various individuals, corporations and foundations and provide strategic advice on these parties to help advance the goals of CAMH and raise the profile of the Foundation. Brought forward at least two additional candidates for engagement to the team on a bi-weekly basis, facilitating the growth of our client base. Initiated and completed a variety of special projects, including those on industry and social media trends, and presenting these projects to the Foundation team. Compiling and distributing daily scans of various media sites, using a variety of news sources and social media to provide up to date information for Foundation staff on news related to our prospects.Updating various policies and procedures to support the development of the Foundation's fundraising database.Ensuring that all coding practices were followed and maintained the overall accuracy and order of CAMH’s donor database on a daily basis.

Reporting to the Director of Research, worked within tight deadlines to provide extensive research profiles for senior management on a variety of corporations, individuals and foundations in order to advance the goals of Brock University. Assisted in the implementation and organization of Brock’s database conversion, which included developing and implementing research processes and procedures for Brock staff and ensuring data quality.
