UxBlitz Jul 2013 - PresentSanta MonicaAACN (American Association of Critical Care Nurses)Based on strategic vision work, I’m helping lead a redesign of a complex multi-platform network of products for the American Association of Critical Care Nurses, including new CMS integration for the organization.Kaiser Permanente ThriveBased on phase one of thrive.com, Kaiser Permanente’s brandsite, I joined round two of the project in parallel of the launch of the Affordable Care Act. This required personas, high-level concept rounds and close collaboration with visual designers. I also helped to spearhead functional spec templates for the UX team for what would become Blitz’s first responsively-informed site.Disney’s ‘My Disney Experience’ iOS appI was lead UX on Disney World’s vacation planning WDPro tool. I guided my team along a very strict deadline - working in parallel with the visual designers, and collaborating closely with the client group on a set of undefined requirements while helping to best articulate priorities and design limitations.Nordic Naturals I co-lead UX on Nordic Naturals’ initial redesign phase that a followed a new company-wide prototype-based design process. Without appropriate discover phase insights, the build was in lieu of concepting and redefining a brand strategy.SENA Cases I lead UX on SENA Cases’ redesign based on high-level pitch concepts. Given a limited timeline and discovery phase, I authored and delivered stakeholder interviews as well as detailed wireframes for what would become Blitz’s first e-commerce site under a new internal e-commerce platform: a hybrid of Django and Magento.Primrose SchoolsI lead UX mid-project on Primrose School’s prospective parent microsite. I aligned with content strategy, developed wireframes based on a multi-touchpoint entry system, and expedited the design process by working in tandem with the development team. -

Chase My New Home YouTube ChannelBased on new YouTube custom channel requirements, I designed a fully responsive YouTube Channel experience for Chase’s My New Home set of videos; fully functional specifications were provided for the development team and backend vendor.Verizon Mobile Wallet Isis RedesignI redesigned a mobile demo for Verizon’s in-store mobile experience, iterating closely with the development and visual design teams.Nokia Lumia Xbox Games DemoI designed a demo experience for the new Nokia Lumia, specifically the Xbox Games Windows experience. I collaborated in designing an Ajax experience based on the pitched visual design. Along with the lead designer, I built wires based on a grid-like visual design. I presented high-fidelity wires to clients in two-week, agile work flows. I also undertook several project management tasks, including project scope reviews and managing a junior designer, including the planning and development of work schedules. -
Interaction DesignerDigitas Dec 2010 - Mar 2012Greater Boston AreaGeneral Motors (OnStar ‘For My Vehicle’ site redesign; OnStar For My Vehicle iOS native mobile app; GM Owner Center)I collaborated with a colleague to improve upon the initial design experience of the OnStar website, which included but was not limited to restructuring the in-place architecture that ensured ease of common paths. This involved a comprehensive content audit and heuristic analysis. I also developed an intuitive nomenclature with my team’s copywriters.I aligned with third-party technologists in providing deliverables, including site-maps, work flows, and wireframes. I lead colleagues in redesigning GM’s Owner Center experience. This lead to formal user-testing with a fully functioning prototype and improved iterations in Axure.Various b2b projects and surveys for AflacI lead design for a new survey for prospective insurance purchasers who needed a better understanding of Aflac’s offerings, as well as the role of supplemental insurance. I developed detailed personas that stressed the digital presence between client experiences and competitors, thus culminating in a strategic direction for the site. I wireframed the entire project, which entailed a parallax interaction where users could explore the survey in a map-view experience. I also helped rework a b2b tool based on client requirements for phase 2. This included several different deliverables, including work flows and wireframesBank of America Home Loans This project involved a comprehensive content audit, which was completed and reviewed with clients in an initial requirements gathering phase. Along with two other designers, I worked to consolidate three separate sites into a fluid, streamlined, and easy-to-use Home Loans experience across three devices, which employed a responsive design methodology and an agile, two-week workflow process. I also helped to build a prototype of the site, which involved a fully functioning rates calculator. -
