I create and lead engaged teams, intelligent systems and effective communications to build and scale systems and technologies. I have led large systems implementations, built population health organizations, and implemented a statewide health information exchange (HIE) that was exchanging data within months of my arrival. I love digging in and “getting my hands dirty” to understand and solve the big, hairy and audacious challenges related to value-based contracts, shareholder value, clinical integration, population health, and program management. My passion for innovation in healthcare has motivated me to lead strategy, IT, organizational design, program design, and finance for healthcare organizations for more than 20 years, with one of my proudest achievements being the implementation of a statewide HIE on time and on budget.My colleagues describe me as a strong and supportive leader and “do-er” who is motivated by challenge and mastery.
