My relationship with Frothy started in 2004 when the first location opened in the 12South neighborhood. As a customer, I watched as the brand evolved and grow to become a staple of hospitality in the Nashville community. One of my business partners, had been the General Manager for 5 years when he had the opportunity to purchase the concept from the original owner in 2011. That is when I joined the Frothy family as the official protector of the brand, and 2014 is when I became a Partner. I am the company Creative Director, Chief Marketer, Connector, Strategic Relationship Manager, and Community Builder. It is a culmination of the things I am most passionate about.

BCC has been both my primary business and a side hustle off and on for the past 20+ years. In 2012 I left my position at Fresh Dirt / Werkshop, to focus on my own clients full time. My specialty quickly became food and beverage focused with my clients including Frothy Monkey, Burger Up Cool Springs, Mere Bulles, Corbin in The Dell, and Arrington Vineyards. I have also worked with clients in other aspects of entertainment and hospitality. Creative thinking = creative solutions for my clients' brand strategy and brand activation needs. That could include anything from naming, overall brand development (visuals, brand story, messaging, etc.) to strategy and execution of Creative (logos, collateral, advertising, websites, campaigns, etc.).

Other positions held: VP Operations, Sr. AEI took the leap into Agency life when I joined Fresh Dirt Marketing (which eventually became Werkshop Marketing), a boutique agency in Nashville with a focus on local entrepreneurs and small businesses. We built brands from the ground up, helped focus vision and turn it into something that was marketable. Our clients varied widely in size/location and the industries my clients represented included food, hospitality, CPG, sports, entertainment, financial, retail, celebrity brands, and non-profits. At the time, I did not have the desire to own my own business, but instead to support those who did. I was inspired by the risks that these folks were willing to take to make their visions a reality, and the trust they bestowed on us to be a part of that. My experience here instilled in me that passion, strategy, commitment, community, and execution are all key to success. Creative Direction & Brand Strategy- Manage and provide support and direction to staff; Guide brand strategy for clients; TV & Radio scripting and production; information design. Manage the creative team. Overall branding and tactical strategies; Develop and write creative briefs and messaging; research; direction. Website wireframing and planning, SEO strategy. Brand Activation- Lead special projects dealing with our athletic clients that include endorsement management and negotiation. Events/appearances/promotion. Social media, blogging, email marketing, smartphone apps, mobile sites, video, QR Codes, Text to win, etc. Manage relationship with clients, manage and reconcile client budgets and offer ongoing strategic direction.Operations- Create and implement process; Budget and Monitor client account profitability; Hire and manage vendors/contractors. Marketing Education- Develop, lead, promote monthly educational sessions known as DIGS on various marketing topics.

When I joined the Predators, we were selling a product / sport which was fairly new to the South, that had a small but growing demand in Nashville. As a result, our strategy was to create an experience based on entertainment and hospitality. My job was to package that experience in such a way that resulted in buy-in from potential fans. Being a part of the team who created and executed the original Smashville campaign (a community driven concept that is now the core of Preds culture and fan experience) was one of my proudest accomplishments during my time there.Responsibilities:Conceptualized, designed and delivered effective tactical strategies, advertising campaigns and marketing materials. While with the Preds I was awarded the Art Ross trophy for accomplishing the most in my area of responsibility.Marketing- Maintained brand congruency. Monitored the use of the Predators logo and maintained the integrity of the Predators Brand both internally and externally. Develop strategies to support team revenue goals, complement Hockey Operation goals and the efforts of Game Operations, Sales, Sponsorship and Community Relations. Provided event support including game night activities, annual events and the 2003 NHL Draft. Acted as Predators MOD on game nights. Maintained sponsor agency relationships to support activation.Art Direction- Directed and managed the design team to service the needs of the Predators organization and Predators Foundation; Integrated senior design student interns as active contributors in current workflow; Maintained relationships with printers and other vendors and handle quoting/bid process; Monitored the purchase and maintenance of hardware and software for a network of macs. Projects include the design of indoor, outdoor and print advertising; building graphics; collateral; logos; promotional items; signage; in-arena and web graphics.
