I am passionate about modernizing education for the 21st century learner by bridging Educational Development and Leadership Coaching.Educators are fatigued. Learners are disengaged. Together, we can develop transparent and authentic relationships that help us show up with greater ease and backbone in our work and in the classroom. We can change and support others to change. As the first Director of Teaching & Learning Innovation at College of the North Atlantic, I get to bring together my passion for adult education, authentic leadership, and coaching. Responsible for building a brand new unit, I am inspired by our faculty members and my colleagues every day. As a Certified Executive Coach, I work closely with educational leaders who want to lead with greater impact, drive innovation, and foster healthy communication in their organization: all things that we know are desperately needed in today's rapidly-changing #HigherEd environment.In addition to being a Certified Mentor Coach (RRU) and an accredited coach with the International Coaching Federation (PCC) with over 1000 hours of coaching experience, I am a skilled facilitator with a career in adult education. My practice as a certified Appreciative Inquiry Facilitator allows me to help clients challenge the limitations of traditional problem-solving and focus on what they want more of. As an ultra endurance cyclist, I am passionate about sport, advocacy, setting big goals and trying to achieve them. I enjoy sharing the lessons I've learned as a result of my sport, and the importance of taking care of our physical wellness in order to bring our best selves to work.
