Care worker duties:● Helping with personal care including washing and dressing.● Meal preparation, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks.● Domestic services, housework, ironing, changing beds, washing up and empty bins.● Helping to assist in getting ready for bed and putting to bed.● Completing daily records and mars charts.● Reporting back with information if care plans to be changed and any problems. Supervisory duties:● Organising work rotas for the carers.● Updating care plans to be put into client’s homes so carers are aware of the changes.● Answering phone calls and referrals from new clients and informing them about the services we provide.● Shadowing new members of staff on site to ensure they are following the care plan correctly along with following the company's policies and procedures.● Out of hours phone support for carers, including shift support or staff replacement. Rapid Response Administrative Assistant duties:● Answering phone calls, along with managing referrals from both Kettering and Northampton Hospitals.● Help with discharging elderly people and younger adults from the hospitals, getting them home and providing care immediately.● Transporting them from hospital in own cars depending on their mobility.● Writing up care plan from hospitals providing information for carers to have as a guide before meeting the client.● Allocating carers rotas and work schedules via various Microsoft Office software applications on a daily basis.● Creating new clients on our database using carefree our excel based system including key information such as start and end dates etc. Show less
