I left home to follow music in the summer of 1994. By the end of that year I was doing stage design for Moe. I spent another year working in a record store but the road called. I was magically brought and given a position working for Phish. I was then able to combine working when the tour was not going on via both the record store and night club that supported the live music scene in the area that I grew up in NC. Thru meeting many people I was then able to also get national work thru out the festival seasons doing at first hospitality and volunteer coordination, I then worked my way into doing set and event design, creating themes for events and parties and custom making the pieces were needed for the events. After 7 years in 2001 I felt that I could successfully create my own festival. It was called Harmonic Convergence and was attended by over 1000 people each year, and with headliners including Burning Spear, Soundtribe Sector 9, LTJ Bukem, Ming and FS, Living Legends, and Fareed Haque. I have been able to apply those organizational skills to everything from children’s theme parties, weddings, private events and other smaller events. But mostly with my diverse skill set, love of networking and experience, I feel that I would be an incredible asset to any organization needs, any or all parts of these skill sets. Ranging from parking lot layouts, equipment rental, personal relations, and love of productions, there is no job that I am un able to take on.Specialties: I have a huge network of artists, musicians’, computer web designers, dancers, seamstresses, video directors, all very professional people so many that I see being a networker and bring resources together as a major asset in my skills. As well as being able to organize large events, buy seeking out people’s natural skills and applying them to the right positions.
