I am an experienced lawyer and business advisor but, perhaps more importantly, I am hardworking, pragmatic and friendly. I am always happy to go the extra mile for my clients. I endeavour to get right the little things that other lawyers get wrong, and I enjoy making my clients' lives easier as a result.As a partner, I perform a wide range of corporate and corporate finance work, including advising on buying and selling businesses, mergers and acquisitions, MBOs, MBAs, joint ventures and general company law. An example of the deals I have been involved in are linked below in the 'Projects' section.I also advise both borrowers and lenders on lending and finance, and my clients include household name banks and both local and international companies. I provide advice in relation to a wide range of banking matters including loan documents, guarantees, security documents, deeds of priority and intercreditor arrangements. As well as acting for funders, I provide advice and support to companies and organisations that require finance for the next step in their development.Within these fields, I have particular experience in the franchise, retail, care home and pharmacy sectors, although my clients come in all shapes and sizes.

As a trainee, I held seats in the dispute resolution, employment, corporate and commercial and commercial property departments; qualifying into the corporate / commercial department in 2007. I then worked as a commercial contracts and corporate finance solicitor for a year before leaving to come to Geldards.

I worked as a legal assistant for a year in the employment department for the Department of Health and the Department for Work and Pensions, undertaking defence work for the government up to Court of Appeal level and working closely with managers in both departments.
