☺️As an experienced professional with 28 years of work in the K-8 teaching space, pivoting from the classroom to the Edtech industry, I have a deep understanding of the education world and the challenges educators and educational leaders face. 📘I loved my time in the classroom; however, I believe at this moment in my career, a change and a new challenge are needed. My experience has helped me have an in-depth knowledge of curriculum design, editing, expert communication skills, a thorough understanding of different learning formats, experience with multiple virtual platforms, and a deep desire to learn and grow as I move away from the classroom. 🏋🏼‍♂️Relationships are at the center of everything I do. I like to build and maintain relationships with others to earn their trust, understand their needs, and help them meet their goals. I have also mastered delivering engaging presentations, being a contributor to collaborative teamwork, being adaptable and versatile, and goal-oriented self-starter. 🚙When I'm not working, I'm on a road trip with my husband in our old vintage 5 window truck, racing Hotwheels cars with our grandsons, or working on a new craft. I also sit as secretary for the Antique Automobile Cars of America, a nonprofit that brings together the love of vintage cars with the younger generation.
