Work, Nutrition & Dietetics, Speech Pathology, and Podiatry outpatient clinics.Assisting in the Physiotherapy- in mobilizing patients, with gait retraining, transfers also work autonomously with patients to deliver exercise programs.Occupational Therapy- assist with programs for PADL`s upper and lower limb retraining, transfers, CARPS equipment, adjusting equipment and patient education on safe equipment use, day 1 post-operation checks, and MAC referrals.Social Work – As directed by Social workers seniors to screen and assess noncomplex patients to obtain all relevant information to assist the Social Workers. Including screening a Stroke and NIDS blanket referrals, assisting patients to complete Centrelink applications forms, researching and networking with new agencies to obtain information for services for referrals. Prepare patient education handout packs such as Homeless, financial, legal, domestic violence, grief, and loss pack, etc., Decosta applications, and food bank vouchers.Nutrition & Dietetics - Malnutrition Screening, including all, PMHx, Social Hx, Weight, Weight history, BMI, Percentage HOMER Diet code of body weight lost.Currently training with ready reckoners and calculating patient food charts Information. Preparing and providing outpatient education handout packs such as pregnancy packs for high and low BMI, healthy living lifestyle, celiac disease, diabetic, and IBS patient information posted to patients.
