Senior Production Chemist
Current➢ Protein purification using column chromatography.➢ Quality testing of purified protein (SDS-PAGE, HPLC).➢ Perform Ultrafiltration and Diafiltration of proteins.➢ Complete all production (bulk formulation, fill, tray and value assignment) as scheduled.➢ Draft and revise documents including SOP’s, MRP’s and QTP’s➢ Plan, coordinate and direct the tasks of department staff.➢ Maintain records of laboratory activities and notebooks in a professional, accurate manner.➢ Ensure junior chemist are trained and qualified in manufacturing procedure and that training is properly documented.➢ Collaborate with supervisor/Manager to establish objectives and timelines for completion.➢ Participate in periodic reviews of component labor routings, material requirements, BOM’s andmanufacturing procedures. Ensure information is accurate and up to date.➢ Assist with the transfer of new products to manufacturing and/or processes.➢ Assist supervisor to ensure established policies and procedures for control/reagent manufacturing are being followed and report any issues➢ Write and execute experiments, investigations and protocols with minimal supervision.
