• Responsible for managing all financial aspects of 30 waste management facilities across the continental United States and Canada• Finance management of various service lines within Clean Harbors: Transfer and Disposal Facilities, Hazardous Oil Recycling Facilities, Recycle Center & Accumulation Center Facilities• Weekly forecasting, annual budgeting, financial analysis and modeling, inventory management, pricing analysis• Involved with developing, implementing, and reviewing process controls pertaining to the Sarbanes-Oxley Act• Manage a staff of three shared services administrators responsible for mid-level accounting functions• Train newly acquired operational general managers on financial responsibilities and merge them onto all Clean Harbors systems.• Assist general managers within locations with their financials as well as monthly P&L reviews.

-Prepare reconciliations of balance sheet accounts including fixed assets, environmental liabilities from sub- systems to general ledger-Cash management, expense posting, accounts payable, accounts receivables-Prepare account analysis of the more complex balance sheet accounts-Assist in monthly financial close by reviewing all P&L's running and drill downs, as well as running balance sheets and queries-Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements-Prepare financial information included in footnotes and management discussion of 10Qs and 10Ks -Responsible for reporting to supervisor potential control deficiencies noted, procedural changes that have occurred or may occur which may require update to SOX documentation -Responsible for reading, comprehending, and following the applicable narratives pertaining to Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements-Prepare and post monthly journal entries-Research and review Corporate P&L's and make necessary adjustments -Assist in other areas of the company with purchase orders-Acquisition accounting - testing and processing Software utilized: PeopleSoft, Excel, Word, WIN

-Responsible for numerous trade accounts for several clients-Run custody monitor to determine whether all trades would settle-Ensure all trades were corrected booked into the system-Direct contact with DTC to ensure timeliness-Interest research and posting to correct accountsSoftware utilized: Avia, Excel, Word

-Responsible for inputting all vendor invoices from 100+ stores.-Cutting of checks to send to vendorsSoftware utilized: Lawson, JDA, Excel, Word
