Honoured to be a part of the Invictus Games "I AM" journey, supporting courageous athletes embarking on a journey of self-discovery and self-improvement through sport. I was approached by Soldier On for this role through my coaching and training with the Canadian Adaptive Snowsports Community and my network with Veterans during the building of BC Adaptive Snowsports Shoulder 2 Shoulder Snowtherapy Ski Retreat our local program hosted at Sun Peaks Resort.

Joined Adaptive Sports at Sun Peaks in 2018 upon moving to this fantastic community as a Program Manager and Volunteer Instructor. Greatly honoured to help build confidence, independence, and safety awareness in our learners through ski instructing. I'm passionate about how sports can positively impact family, social, and personal life. Committed to my own training through the Canadian Adaptive Snowsport certification pathways achieving Levels 1, 2, 3, and now Course Conductor Level 1(Discipline - Skiing). From Program Manager and Volunteer Instructor, to now Training Director and Director at Large on the Board of Directors, this has been the most rewarding not-for-profit organization to be a part of. I've developed personally and professionally from the program and I've had a direct impact on the lives of our learners and fellow instructors. I'm also committed to developing and building the camaraderie and skills of my fellow instructors, contributing to this professional snowsport industry, and most importantly, the clients we serve!
