Work as developer , take care of lifestyle brand, TED BAKER.Shoe types:- Heel sandals, high heels and peep toe shoes for Ted Baker, as well as classic boots and booties. The material is mainly calf leathers, sheep leathers and fresh collection of floral patterned with qualified trademarks on hardware.- Molded styles, are mainly for shoes with molded part or injected parts , Material are with EVA, TPU , RUBBER.- Vulcanized ladies rubber boot.Main tasks:- Work on samples from first trial pattern to CFM/Key sizes Fitting samples.- Work with designer (from UK headquarter) directly for develop sample package ( shoe design drawing, parts design drawing , specification etc.).- Work with supplier, or go to material marketing for initial trial sample material develop/sourcing according to specification requirement, as well as physical testing and RS testing requirement.- Work with shoe factory for proto samples (check pattern trial, mold opening, and last developing), sales samples, confirm samples and key sizes fitting samples.- Work with cross function team for technician package transfer for further production.- Oversee costing from different stage, and keep it updated. Also help to get cost down and fix the final price for production.

Work as Project Manager. Mainly product is Injected EVA Casual Shoes, Take care of trial sample to full sizes till commercialization process finish. For some special program need watch further to first production order.My daily work can be split into two parts:1. Use company system to set up personal goal, production goal, and planning , and then follow it to work out. Update the system per actual daily work, for schedule, call out the key points , problems , and find routings and solutions. The related documents , like Design Package, Colorway Specs , need be download timely from system and transfer to factory develop team. After actual sample turn out each round , need make Bill of Material, teardown notes, Fitting report, Standard Operation Process and upload to system for share internal company. Moreover, need help review the Test Report, RS report before test team upload to system.2. In actual work on shoes , need collaborate with company Designers, Project Managers and Production Line Managers from both USA and Italy office. Tracking out desired material in color, quality and physical performance, and sign off swatches for factory. Work together and leading factory to meet sample schedule and quality requirements. Optimize process and sign off finished shoe standerd for factory. Arrange full sizes trial and schedule per production launch date. Set up full sizes grading data, and quality standard on each specific size together with shoe factory and company QA people.Additionally, discuss mold and improvements with mold engneer. Analyze material and finished shoe costing with cost team. Offer good options to designers for costing down, but still keep production basic goal.

worked as Developer -Footwear, in China office.(for Georgia Boots , Lehigh , and Michelin brands , mainly are work shoes)The cycle starts with initial prototype samples (and included new last and mold development), followed by revisions if necessary; fitting and testing samples, confirmation samples, and finally sales samples.My responsibilities are:- Receive and follow up sample order from U.S. office Development Department.- Ensure that manufacturers receive and understand all development requests.- Gather all information required in order to maintain up-to-date records regarding status of development at the factories. Create Bill of material , Schedule tracking report; Collect test report.- Work with mold shop and last maker for molds and lasts.- Work with suppliers to get correct material on time , and negotiate competitive price.- Push factories for on-time completion of each project.- Check finished sample quality and handle sample shoe packing and shipment. - Travel with U.S. visitors when they come to visit factories. Set up and confirm itineraries for visitors including dates and times, hotel accommodations, and domestic travel (by air, ferry, or car)

Sample room as Project Leader, and Develop Manager Assistant in CAT develop team.To be a project leader, I worked with Developers and designers from brand company, received and understood the development request, and explain the development requirement to sample room workers and tracking out the actual sample shoes. During this time I learnt every process of shoe making from a drawing to become a true shoe, especially in Goodyear Welt construction, Cement Construction, DESMA Injection and Vulcanized shoes. And knowledge about various shoe material and components. As well as documents management, shipping ,etc.To be an Assistant for Develop Manager, I helped the manager handle all develop team. Controlled the team construction, got proper job distribution and tracking the status for the task for each teammate. And communicate with brand company, suppliers, sample room and production line, and other factory departments to run the whole team smoothly for daily work.
