Outputs include scoping reviews for each setting, and prioritisation of research questions to inform a research agenda.• Part of a research team responsible for conducting a process evaluation of Wash’Em in Zimbabwe on behalf of ACF and Wash’Em. • Co-Principal Investigator of a 2-year research project, which intends to improve hygiene behaviours and practices in Guardian Waiting Shelters (GWS) and communities in Malawi through an intervention development and feasibility study. The research team includes a collaboration between the WASHTED Centre - Malawi, the University of Strathclyde, and LSHTM. • Principal Investigator of a 1-year controlled before-and-after study, which intends to examine the effectiveness of Oxfam’s SaniTweaks consultation process of improving the refugees' sanitation experience with communal sanitation facilities in Gambella refugee camps, Ethiopia. The research team includes a collaboration between the University of Gambella, Oxfam and LSHTM.

Global Diffusion of Sani Tweaks in Uganda with Oxfam- Co-led fieldwork and sanitation focused workshops to stimulate emotional intelligence, dialogue and action with WASH staff when designing and implementing sanitation activities in response to the global problem statement that women and girls do not use latrine facilities built by NGOs. Wat san engineer responsible for designing and implementing a water supply programme ($350 K). Scope of works included facilitating the implementation of a booster pumping station on behalf of the local Water Board, monitoring of salinity and rehabilitation of shallow household wells, and assessment and concept design for providing water supply at 62 schools affected by the tsunami. School programme included management of drilling contractor for 14 tube wells; rehabilitation of existing hand dug wells and raised water towers.
