As a Regional Manager, I serve as the channel of communication between the Division Director or Executive Director and all program offices in the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation West Central Region. I coordinate and oversee the activities of vocational rehabilitation offices in the region. I also, serve as liaison between agency and workforce investment area partners.

I managed and supervised District staff and monitors branch activities to ensure compliance with Federal Rehabilitation Act which include the management of a district budget. I also interpreted, applied, and enforced agency rules, regulations and policies as they relate to the agency programs implemented by the district office. I also participate in the development and/or revision of policies and procedures.

I administered, scored, and interpreted vocational testing andd work sample results which included behavioral observations and recording behavior patterns of client's physical tolerances, stamina, endurance, worker traits, skill levels, aptitudes and interests. Once testing was completed I planned and presented results to consumers and counselors as part of an exit/staffing conference.

A crucial job responibility was developing collaboritve relationships with Physicians, Occupational Theripist, Physicial Theripist, Workers Comp Case Managers, and Employers to ensure a successful tranition to competitive employment.
