For this 12 month interim contract, I held responsibility for the communications strategy for two-thirds of the John Lewis business, including EHT - the most dynamic and rapidly-growing category. Managing both an in-house press team and 2 specialist agencies, my role necessitated outstanding creative, management and collaborative skills to ensure the successful delivery of a proactive and reactive omni-channel communications programme. During an extremely fast-paced year I also developed my crisis management, corporate and reputation management experience.

Initially engaged on a three month consultancy contract as part of a turn-around project, my position was converted to permanent in order for me to implement strategic recommendations across the £30 million EMEA Wedgwood business. My focus was on defining and delivering compelling brand communications and consumer experiences, including: strategic marketing and PR campaigns with supporting tool kits for local and regional activation, brand partnerships (notably the Mulberry x Wedgwood collaboration for LFW 2014), wholesale and retail analysis and targeted support programmes, representing Wedgwood as a brand ambassador in person and in the print/broadcast media both in the UK and internationally.

Retained by Timex to provide transitional support and project-based consultancy work for a period of 3 months.

I was responsible for product and marketing strategy for the Style business across Timex's global distribution (excludes US domestic). I developed and implemented marketing programmes to support key stratgeic objectives, worked with focus markets to support their business, and was responsible for internal communications to International on all Style related issues. I was also project manager for the Timex stand at BaselWorld, the world's largest jewellery and watch trade show.
