Since February 2017 I have been volunteering for Carrie LeBlanc of CompassionWorks International. Each year I coordinate an event in Birmingham City Centre to shine a light on the cruel outdated and backward sport known as trophy hunting. The event is held worldwide and is getting bigger and better, more and more people are becoming aware of how they can help towards getting trophy hunting and canned hunting banned for good!

I have been advocating for the survival of threatened species on the brink of extinction for about 4 years now and have organised many demonstrations and events to help bring awareness to the plight of animals not only in the wild but in captivity too including the cruel canned hunting industry.One of my biggest achievement's so far this year was coordinating the first Global March for Elephants and Rhino in Birmingham. It was a fantastic success and I had many compliments and feedback from attendees who really enjoyed the day. There is a wonderful and supportive animal rights community in Birmingham and the West Midlands who volunteer their time to my events to help me set up and ensure that it is a success, none of this would be possible without them. My second big achievement this year was playing a part in ensuring that the NEC ban the Safari exhibits and companies at the Shooting Show next February. With lots of exposure in the newspapers by the awesome Ban Trophy Hunting team and my interviews with the Sunday Mercury and local newspapers the pressure was too much and they caved in and banned safari companies from next years show. This was a huge win for animal rights and for Birmingham. I really enjoy and have a passion for this role and would like to do this full time as paid employment. I am also an experienced Administrator and Receptionist and have worked for various companies so have a varied knowledge working with people from all walks of life and backgrounds. Because of my extensive experience and maturity I am a good all rounder and I am able to connect with people on all levels.I also have a passion for alternative healing and have been qualified in Energy Field Healing for over a decade now helping people, animals and the planet on all levels. I also practice meditation on a daily basis which helps me to stay grounded and calm.
