Responsible for the development and delivery of the Regional Fundraising plan in line with the Regional Fundraising Strategic Plan and RBL Corporate PlanManaging the team of Community Fundraisers to deliver objectives and targets within the Regional Fundraising Plan Working with County Managers, county and branch officials and volunteers in counties where there is no Community Fundraiser to facilitate delivery of the targetsWorking with Head of Regional Fundraising and other fundraising departments to develop new fundraising initiatives

I was promoted to this post after dramatically increasing income in my previous role. My new challenge was to continue to increase income by developing new donor acquisition and ongoing donor development campaigns.Since I have been in post I have grown income by 39%, effectively fundraising from within the database and implementing new and improved donor acquisition campaigns.Due to the success of Sustrans’ In House Face to Face fundraising campaign we were presented with the award for best F2F fundraising campaign at Professional Fundraising & Institute of Fundraising Awards. Created and implemented use of email marketing bringing in 600% return on investmentCreated new Fundraising opportunities from data sources from within the organisation, such as volunteers and trading data.Management of up to 130 staff (recruiters/volunteers), with a main team of 9.Responsible for all voluntary fundraising activities for the charity, including Direct Marketing, Face 2 Face Fundraising, Telephone Fundraising, door to door and Internet Fundraising, Legacy Marketing and Fundraising, Sponsorship and community events and Major Donor and corporate fundraising.Liaison with Volunteer groups to maximise regional & community fundraising opportunitiesBudget of £900,000 to achieve net contribution of over £2.4m

The development and management of contracted services. Maintaining excellent client relationships and working with the client to review strategy and gaining knowledge of internal factors which may affect strategy, results or budgets. Client liaison in preparing and submitting proposals, briefs, scripts and training materials and delivery of contracts to meet the needs of the clients. Identifying issues with the campaigns as they arise and management of solutions. Close customer focused management of campaigns live, ensuring excellent lines of communication within NTT between all department managers through management and planning meetings, to ensure profitability for both NTT and the client. Preparation and submission of reports and statistical information to clients as a review of the campaign within agreed time frames. Management and supervision of an Account Executive, carrying out performance reviews, ensuring adequate staff cover for all work in progress and nurturing and developing a team culture to ensure that all team members feel supported in their daily work. Clients included RNID, WWFUK, Water Aid, The Medical Foundation, Crisis and Save the Children.
