In 2006 Jenny Tedbury founded The Lighthouse Project Spalding, a now registered charity. Jenny and her team work to serve young people who are struggling in different ways by helping them to deal with their past and thereby gain confidence to cope with everyday life. The charity seeks to give back toyoung people the power in life they've had taken from them.Drawing on her own experiences and the experiences of those she has worked with through thecharity, Jenny has just released her debut book; We're All a Little Bit Broken: A Journey FromHurting to Healing.We're All a Little Bit Broken explores why you may be confused and frustrated about how you react sometimes, or why life seems a struggle and overwhelming for no apparent reason. Jenny’s words will help you recognise why this is happening, give you the power to overcome your triggers and enable you to move towards better choices and full freedom in every area of your life.Jenny is the Executive Director of The Lighthouse Project Spalding, a church leader, nurse andformer Assistant Director of Public Health in the NHS.She teaches, preaches and writes whenever she gets the chance.

It has a general home and flats for all young adults, a Mum & Baby unit and a home for young women with life controlling issues. Whilst most of these are very light touch support, this last home is called Karis House and provides slightly more intensive rehabilitation for young women who find daily living difficult. The charity also runs a second hand furniture store and a charity shop with cafe. These provide opportunities for work experience for the young people. -

I had lead responsibility for the development and maintenance of systems to deliver the requirements of Access to Health Records and Freedom of Information, including setting up databases to log and track incoming and outgoing information for both, and the setting up and overseeing the PCT's FOI website.
