My life is driven by the belief that out of darkness can come light—a guiding metaphor that underscores the transformative power of confronting trauma, shame, fear, and insecurity. Navigating these challenges paves the way for healing and empowerment, ultimately breaking free from the grip of past pain to embrace a brighter future.At the core of my approach is intersectional feminism—a political theory and practice that seeks to liberate all women, including women of color, working-class women, poor women, disabled women, and lesbian, bisexual, and transwomen from systemic mistreatment of misogyny, racism, homophobia, ableism and the residual disadvantages and pain.Whether I’m working my shifts on a domestic violence shelter, sexual assault hotline or engaging in activism, my purpose is promoting resilience and empowerment for historically and contemporary marginalized communities such as:- Survivors of sexual violence, incest, and childhood abuse.- Survivors of domestic violence.- Generational cycle breakers.- Those facing adverse mental health effects.I believe change and impact are only possible when we come together in solidarity.I'm excited to collaborate with anyone striving to create meaningful change and build a brighter future for generations to come. “Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation.
