I am a Pathologists' Assistant with 7+ years of experienced at a small, private, cancer focused hospital in Newnan, GA. I have an immense amount of experience grossing complex breast, GU, GI, and GYN cancer resections.Due to the small nature of the hospital, I have acquired numerous additional, non-grossing abilities relating to department management such as ordering all supplies, contacting supply and maintenance vendors, writing policies and procedures, and training new hires. I have become acting interdepartmental liaison between pathology, surgery, and imaging departments in order to perfect and troubleshoot specimen collection.
