Analyzed and produced research reports on individual and aggregate country portfolio and pipeline data for Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay; this included creating quarterly reports, briefs for Annual Meetings, and presentations for meetings upon request of the Regional Manager. Provided macro and political risk assessments as inputs for investment strategies; support integrity risk due diligence for investment projects. Contributed with policy analysis and portfolio data for World Bank Group strategic products (country diagnostics, frameworks, reviews).

Collected, analyzed and verified data for the Doing Business 2016 report’s Dealing with Construction Permits indicator, utilizing the tools of Salesforce, Data Management Systems (DMS) and Excel, for over 30 economies. Reviewed and drafted responses to client inquiries on country reform updates and methodology changes. Created a model to easily identify performance of 189 economies across new legal sub-indicators.

Advised the Ministry of Finance in matters related to international trade and economic policy and coordinated policy agendas related to the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and Union of South American Nations (UNASUR), among others.

Promoted to supervise and lead a team of 6 loan officers with a total loan portfolio size of $690,000 YTD in the regions of Zacatecoluca and Cojutepeque. Responsibilities included overseeing the credit proposal process, maintaining the level of delinquent loans below 3% of the total portfolio size, motivating loan officers, creating key relationships with unions and cooperatives to attract new clients, spearheading marketing campaigns, and streamlining operational and administrative processes.

Executed daily cross-asset class OTC derivatives trades of average notional sizes of $10 million for ultra-high net worth clients.Administered trades from deal inception to final reporting and marked-to-market valuations.Educated financial advisors about strategic client solutions in portfolios of size $25 million or greater. Analyzed commodity index outperformance strategies and equity buy-write strategies.
