In 2016 Jennifer was invited to join the Newcastle Music Festival Committee offering her expertise with pro bono event management, funding and acquisition of sponsorship assistance to this amazingly talented group of volunteers who are an incorporated association, the Newcastle Music Festival Inc. The festival committee is made up of wonderful people who are artistically talented, highly skilled and well connected in the Newcastle area. The venues for the Festival include the Christ Church Cathedral, Adamstown Uniting Church, The Con and utilise other Newcastle CBD venues like Rustica for Festival social events throughout the 10 day event working with Hunter Tafe students who gain valuable experience.

Gloucester Business Chamber funded by the Department of Industry; currently managing a project of surveying businesses in Gloucester; marketing the project, staging a Launch and interviewing businesses; formatting an action plan, preparing a report of findings, and launching the report. Gloucester is an amazing destination, relaxed, friendly and has many projects and groups working on attracting business and people to relocate there.

Jenny contracted to the Warners Bay Chamber of Comerce for over 10 years and kickstarted many Special Events eg. Music in the Podium and the New Years Eve Fireworks Spectacular on Lake Macquarie. Jenny also worked with Business Charlestown, Lake Macquarie Business Club and Belmont Chamber. Jenny enjoys mentoring young people who gain valuable work experience assisting with events, eg Lakefest in Belmont and the fantastic Darby Street special events staged prior to 2010! Jenny organised chamber functions, meetings and headed up a team of staff in a key role managing council Town Centre Program contracts funded from a Special Rate Variation to Lake Macquarie City Council. Jenny specialised attracting sponsorship, coordinated fundraising, is passionate in helping to coordinate town and retail marketing and promotions, enjoys lobbying and politics as a hobby, was the Federal Candidate for Shortland in 2016, NSW State Candidate in 2019, is the Liberal Lord Mayoral Candidate for Newcastle & Ward 2 for the December 4 local government election.Jenny with two other neighbours commenced when she lived in Lakelands, a Community Safety Facebook group to ensure the local community was well connected and alerted each other in times of threats of criminal behaviour of to report vandalism to public or private property. Crime prevention is so important in our society.
