During my internship at Atomic20 I was responsible for numerous roles within my position as Social Media Marketing Coordinator. My social media duties included overseeing and running Atomic20's social media pages, tracking and analyzing social media reports to make business decisions, and providing content for our Instagram and Twitter pages. At Atomic20 I also was responsible for planning onsite company promotional events. Each month Atomic20 hosted a happy hour at their office and I was in charge of picking a theme and figuring out the logistics such as budget, email outreach, and distributing newsletters about the event. Other responsibilities included providing assistance for various video and photo shoots for our clients. I helped out with production from start to finish on projects and learned a great deal about producing video content.

During my time at Verde Brand Communications, I was assigned to the KEEN Footwear account where I was able to gain more experience in public relations, marketing, and brand communication/ management. My tasks included tracking media hits onto our Excel sheet, blogging, overseeing social media, writing press releases, tracking inventory, and researching various forms of media and media outlets to have our clients featured in. I often corresponded with major magazine publications in order to have an editor write an upcoming article about a featured product. As I advanced in my role, I was given the opportunity to work with more clients such as Falke, Balega, and FuelBelt, where I was able to further my knowledge on the outdoor industry.

Social Media Engagement: Created a social media platform through Instagram and Twitter in order to engage and connect with consumers and future users. Acquired over 1,000 followers on Instagram through strategic use of product awareness. Event Planning: Coordinate on campus events to engage the student body with product promotions. Management: Conduct monthly store check-ins at Nordstrom where I manage the Pinrose counter.
