With over twenty years of experience in public relations, I have developed a strong expertise in logistics, events, and strategic communications. I currently work at The Burning Glass Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides research and insights on the future of work and education. There, I support the President and executive team with planning, coordinating, and executing various projects, tasks, and initiatives across the organization.Some of my key achievements include organizing and facilitating successful institute-wide summits, managing relationships with media partners, and creating and maintaining exciting working partnerships across our stakeholders and funders. I pride myself on being able to respond quickly and effectively to changing circumstances, assess problems formulate solutions, and deliver high-quality work on time. I also foster a collaborative and positive work environment and leverage my skills in hospitality, communication, and client relations to build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external partners. I am proficient in using various computer programs and tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, Canva, Notion, Asana, and Adobe Photoshop. I have a dual degree in psychology and mass communication/media studies from East Tennessee State University, which gives me a unique perspective and understanding of human behavior and media trends.
