ERIKS is the UKs largest Industrial Engineering Services provider. My role as HR Business Partner, was to provide HR advice and support on a wide range of strategic and operational issues, to 2000+ employees based at over 200 sites nationwide. Working closely with the Board and senior management to develop and implement a people plan that compliments the Business strategy plans. My responsibilities included; • Providing advice & guidance to managers on a range of HR issues and ensuring they adhere to Company policy and in line with legislation.• Lead and implemented change at a strategic level working closely with senior management.• Took an active role in enhancing Management capability.• Delivered employment law and absence management training courses to managers.• Communicated business changes and ensured they were implemented according to legislation.• Ensured managers effectively managed sickness absence, assistEd with long term sick home visits/capability discussions and arranged occupational health appointments.• Managed succession planning and developed upcoming talent, liaising closely with the L&D Team to create development plans where required.• Supported with recruitment at all levels, arranging and attending interviews where required.• Liaised with the payroll team to ensure they have relevant data for correct monthly payments within specified deadlines.• Responsible for ensuring Exit Interviews were carried out with all leavers and compiling reports on potential leave reasons and turnover rate.• Carried out associated HR admin i.e. disciplinary warnings, contracts, probationary reviews, recruitment etc.
