I initially graduated from Medical School in China and passed the board, and finished graduate school in Computer Sciences and Allied Health in the USA. In the past two decades, I worked in different roles in clinical trials, mainly as Data Manager (DM), Trial Leader, and Programmer on Pharma (Schering-Plough, Forrest Lab, Celgene, Novartis) side and on CRO (Inventiv) side. I am a major contributor, mainly as the lead data manager on 6 life-change drugs (Revlidomid, Pomlidomid, Thalidomide, Kisquali, ibrexafemme, Varubi). I was the lead data manager of Novartis' largest trial CANTOS study, leading 40 DMs worldwide to review and lock the database on these 13000+ patients' trial and got the STAR award of 2017. I was the trial leader for the PD-L trial in 20 countries in Novartis. I also closed the first fast track breast cancer drug Kisquali trials. Now my main focus is leading the department of Clinical Data Sciences, including data management, programming, and statistics to deliver quality data and TLFs for NDA submission. Excluding the management role, I love to oversee data Management/ biostatistics/Programming daily work and sometime hands-on DM work, guide and train Junior DMs, and study managers as needed.
