• Co-developed content for training materials, presentations, board briefings, video scripts, and other communications materials.Strengthened Hitachi Community Action Partnership’s employee resources and volunteer policy to encourage more strategic corporate community engagement and deepen community impact.• Researched social entrepreneurship, impact investing, and sustainable business fields as well as corporate volunteerism and community engagement to keep Foundation abreast of current trends in these areas.• Represented Foundation as a member of Points of Lights Corporate Service Council serving on the Disaster Philanthropy and Skills Based Volunteering Committees.

• Co-designed a program to identify, honor, support, and learn from young entrepreneurs operating businesses working deliberately to ameliorate poverty in the United States.

• Created draft syllabus for MBA level course "Entrepreneurial Management: Focus on Social Entrepreneurship" at Thammasat University.• Investigated financial activity, transparency, and political activity of the top 10 big oil companies and other S&P 500 corporations. • Research was used in the book The HIP Investor: Make Bigger Profits by Building a Better World and the Fast Company Magazine article “Sensible Investing: Oil”.

• Evaluated and streamlined current assessment tools and protocol for The Leadership School at Kieve Wavus, Inc., an experiential learning program serving over 7,000 Maine middle school students annually.• Created dashboard to track and report program outputs, client satisfaction rates, and revenue. System was fully implemented.

• Opened 2 new satellite Clubs in affordable housing communities extending programs to 100 additional youth.• Supervised a team of 4 managers to improve staff training and programs offered to 3,000 youth annually.• Developed a youth development program evaluation tool in collaboration with the United Way.• Identified and collaborated with other youth organizations creating a network of complementary services.

• Led a partnership of 14 regional Boys & Girls Clubs to streamline after school programs offered to 12,000 youth resulting in a greater than 200% increase in United Way grant funding.• Created new avenues of funding, and cultivated new and maintained existed donor relationships increasing annual operating income 13%.

• Improved special event management to increase event income 31% and reduce expenditures 35%.• Overhauled donor tracking and acknowledgement system to improve donor relations.

• Improved volunteer tracking system and created new recruitment channels to increase annual volunteer participation from 3,000 to 5,000, helping boost affiliate’s home-building capacity by more than 30%.• Initiated a neighborhood clean-up to result in a first-of-its-kind community-wide nonprofit collaborative and a significant in-kind donation.• Developed processes for recruiting, tracking, and recognizing volunteers to decrease affiliate’s dependency on paid staff members.
