The Education Coordinator is responsible for the development and facilitation of the educational and recreational programming for True Worth Place guests and other individuals / parties as applicable. The Education Coordinator directly oversees the use of classroom and art studio spaces located at True Worth Place and collaborates with other staff to maximize the use of other instructional spaces in the facility. Other duties may be assigned.• Supports Development Department as primary user of Raisers Edge donor database.• Make bank deposits and writes the journal entry for accounting • Proper coding of donations• Entering donor information and processing donations• Prepare reports on received and pledged donations, as requested, and provide the• Finance with other requested information• Processing in credit card donations• Tracking on-line donations• Preparing receipt letters and donor acknowledgement letters• Invoicing for donor pledges• Provides administrative support to Vice President of Development and Development Department• Pulls mailing lists and prepares special mailings including requests for direct mail marketing• Assists with organizing and executing fund-raising events including organizing and tracking silent auction items for the annual Gala• Orders and maintains fund-raising supplies• Maintains accurate files• Runs the end of month reports for accounting: all credit card portals, campaign reports• Manage third party payers’ portal to access workplace giving donations and companies verifying their employee donations for matching funds• Prepares acknowledgement letters and flags new donors• Maintains office equipment including postage meter and copier/printer• Reviews Program Fees and Apartment rent monies for accuracy before depositing at the bank• Communicates with donors answering questions, making corrections, and updating information as needed
