I was a Fourth Grade Teacher for 6 years, in which I taught all subjects for 3 years, taught just Math for 2 years, and Reading and Math for the last year. I was a Team Leader for 2 years and a Special Projects Team Leader and Math Vertical Team Leader for the last year. I was involved in assisting the teachers, as well as the principal, in various aspects of teaching, events, projects, and technology programs.

While working at the YMCA, I answered phone calls and member questions, signed up customers for membership, gave tours of the facilities, assisted the Director in projects and marketing, and any other task that needed attention. I was also trained to the highest level within the computer technology program utilized.

I taught Fourth Grade students in all subject areas, including computers and Spanish. I was able to assist in creating a team planning time in which allowed all Fourth Grade teachers to come together once a week and discuss and plan lessons, as well as share ideas.
