• Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC), through the Health Care Compliance Assoc. (HCCA).• Manage 40+ staff members in various departments within Medicaid Health Serviceso Oversee the Integrity Unit, the STAR+PLUS Waiver Administrative Team, Data Analyst, Project Manager• Evaluate Program/State Contract and monitor updateso Attend State meetings on behalf of the Organization and speak/provide inputo Analyze changes and its impact to businesso Notify leadership, managers, staff – provide feedback and operational guidance• Analyze compliance data from business units, create reports, and recommend next steps to reduce compliance risk• Manage the development and production of compliance-related reports and analytics• Work with various departments to design and provide content for training• Audit personnel throughout Cigna-HealthSpring to assure timely and appropriate escalation/remediation of compliance issues and support internal corrective action measures• Work with HHSC, various agencies, other MCOs on redrafting of law and policies• Drive compliance risk assessment process within timelines • Assess need for new/revised policies and revise and/or create new policies as needed• Review, track, and analyze pertinent regulations and legislation to our STAR+PLUS (Medicaid) business, as well as the new Medicare-Medicaid Plan (MMP) • Responsible for the coordination of and/or conducting the monitoring, reporting, and detailed analysis of adhering to contract and program requirements for the STAR+PLUS program• Responsible for the timely submission of all state mandated reporting- both scheduled and ad hoc• Coordinates and facilitates participation for all onsite readiness review and audit reviews as determined by the State• Participates in and oversees special projects which involve state and local government officials, as well as coordinating and communicating with impacted stakeholders and constituents

Track, monitor, evaluate and analyze state and federal legislative activity to identify and report on issues pertinent to FSMB and state medical boards.Establish, update and maintain issue overview charts regarding state statutes and regulations pertinent to FSMB and state medical boards.
