Jenny worked closely with the controller and accounting department to improve the financial reporting of participations and residuals paid to talent. During her time at Walt Disney, she was able to identify over 20 process improvements around reconciling SAP reporting to actual payments made from the contract, Bruce and Rerun systems. Jenny served as Senior Associate on the controversial $6.8 billion purchase for P&O ports deal by UAE. She was tasked with observing port operations in Miami and New Jersey in an effort to identify key risks associated with the industry and fair valuation of financial statements for the private equity client. She provided buy side due diligence assistance for mergers and acquisitions to both strategic and private equity buyers, including cross-border acquirers. She researched complex industry specific accounting issues and analyzed key trends by interviewing target company executives and management. Based on the information gathered, Jenny delivered concise, key issue-oriented reports and oral presentations to clients. She worked closely with partners, directors, M&A departments, and client management with all facets of the project, including: coaching associates on preparing analyses of information provided on Excel and PowerPoint; developing thoughtful questions for the client management team; leading meetings and conference calls with key individuals; managing day-to-day inquiries and requests; and identifying deal-breaking issues.
