All senior commercial leaders undergo the assessment and development centre. My role is to supervise the delivery of the centres, facilitate the moderation sessions after each one, finalise individual reports and deliver feedback to commercial leaders, engaging them in developmental plans that build on strengths and address areas for development.

As Outreach Training Coordinator, Jenny developed and delivered projects for the voluntary sector, working on an outreach basis in community settings to encourage women to reach their full potential in the employment market or in self-employment. Key duties included interview techniques, CV writing and development to help women build confidence and approach the job market with a new found conviction.

As Senior Training Officer Jenny was responsible for the full training cycle and budget for manufacturing sector (c.350 staff in two locations). She handled the development of graduate trainees and placement students and introduced the use of psychometrics for assessment and development. Delivered a range of workshops as part of change initiatives relating to management development and quality/process changes, Jenny was selected as the Spicers representative on Reed International graduate recruitment team; designing and delivering graduate assessment centres, also required to deliver Reed supervisory and management development programmes.
