I serve as the communications partner to the Chief Regulatory Officer, supporting the Regulatory Affairs team to create and execute communications supporting strategic priorities, including regulatory policy development, digital health, regulatory strategy, and education.

I led the communications team for Target's technical infrastructure organization. Their focus is on delivering the right information to teams in order to support efficient and effective operations, as well as highlighting the accomplishments of the team through external engagements.

At Illume, I work with our vendors and suppliers to ensure that they are meeting our expectations. By standing up a robust international inspection and testing program, we can measure our vendors against those expectations. Within our manufacturing department, I lead a team of Quality Professionals to ensure that every product that leaves our factory continues to meet our customer's requirements.

As the Director of Operations and Compliance for a small and growing business, I oversaw the Operations of the entire business to ensure the right processes are in place to help the team move faster and have the right tools at their fingertips. As the resident "nerd" on the team, I took complicated problems in Compliance, IT, and Operations and found ways to communicate to our team and our vendors what actions need to be taken. By implementing a risk based model for compliance, I decreased testing and inspection costs by 28% YoY, while maintaining the high level of quality and compliance our customers expect and need. I replaced our company's aging IT infrastructure by systematically swapping out hardware and software, staying on budget, and saving our employees countless hours of lag time. My goal is to increase productivity, ease the burden of unnecessary tasks, and win over customers with quality.

As a Sourcing Manager, I was responsible for vendor relationships to Target. From finding the perfect vendors to make products, negotiating costs and terms, and ultimate vendor selection, to working with buyers and designers to help make their vision a reality. I especially enjoyed finding solutions that appealed to everyone's goals and values, while maintaining and improving product cost.

I led a team of exceptional individuals, helping them tackle complex problems in the area of product safety, quality, and compliance. My team and I ensured that the products you buy at Target are safe and work the way you expect. When that didn't happen, I worked with executive leaders and all affected parties to make it right, including vendors, the legal team, and government agencies. I worked with 70+ 3rd party vendors to help them understand and comply with Target's extensive compliance program. In addition, developed programs and initiatives for the global Target team, ensuring understanding and open communication occurred across the globe. I was able to travel to China on a number of occasions to build relationships with those team members, as well as see the factories and meet the vendors that produce Target's goods. As a Sr. Technical Analyst, I had one direct report and was responsible for the development and evaluation of that team member.
