Design and Implement small scale cell culture and purification experiments. Lead and organize laboratory activities• Subject matter expert on alternating tangential flow (ATF) technology using 2L bioreactors. Led the laboratory operations and authored the technical procedure to ensure the global small scale support and transfer to Amgen Singapore and Amgen Thousand Oaks. • Developed and qualified a small scale solubilization and oxidation unit operation, including vessel development, utility design and controller modification. This Improved efficiency by enabling the site to perform small scale model qualification and characterization at the same site as manufacturing• Developed and performed media development experiments in 10L microbial fermentation vessels, implementing procedures to reduce the risk of purchasing unacceptable raw materials• Managed laboratory schedules and day-to-day activities to coordinate workloads and equipment availability between projects. Tracking of success metrics and safety incidents was included to streamline the effectiveness and safety of the lab.

Operate and maintain 1-100L stirred tank bioreactors, including UF/DF seperation.
