About Jenny Renaut

I'm leading the Biotcehnologies and Environmental Analytics platform of the Departement ‘Environment and Agro-biotechnologies’ of the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology, Luxembourg. My scientific fields of interest were primarily proteomics in relation with plant responses to environmental constraints and development of new protocols and techniques in proteomics, then introduced also metabolomics in my interests. Since 2019, we set up a platform of bioreactors, starting with small volumes (hundres of mL) and reached up now 450L. Our focus is set on plant cell suspension cultures, although fungi and bacteria are also cultivated in the platform, on demand. I've developed numerous international collaborations with laboratories in Europe and the US. From May 2007 until 2011, I was also chairwoman of the COST action FA0603 Plant Proteomics in Europe (http://www.costfa0603.eu).
