Jenny Taing OAM is a Principal Solicitor at KHQ Lawyers where she leads the financial services practice. Passionate about the power of sport in communities, Jenny is Chair of the Western Bulldogs Football Club Community Foundation, a member of the Western Bulldogs Ethics & Integrity Committee and is a board member of AFL Victoria. She is also a board director of VicScreen. Jenny is a former board director of Screen Australia, the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, The Royal Victorian Eye & Ear Hospital, Channel 31, Vice President of the University of Melbourne Alumni Council and a former Commissioner of the Victorian Multicultural Commission. Jenny has held a number of legal, commercial and regulatory roles. She previously worked at Vanguard in product strategy where she was Head of Product Implementation and led the build and launch of Vanguard’s new funds and ETF products in Australia. Prior to this role, Jenny was in- house counsel at Vanguard and spent 10 years as a lawyer at the Australian Securities & Investments Commission. Jenny has a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Melbourne. In 2016, she attended Harvard Business School as the Hugh DT Williamson Scholar; a prestigious scholarship awarded by the Financial Services Institute of Australasia (FINSIA). She is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the Australian Institute of Superannuation Trustees.Jenny received the Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) on Queen's Birthday 2020, for service to the financial and investment sectors, and to the community.
