Members of the Agency Management Committee are appointed by the Australian Health Workforce Ministerial Council.The Agency Management Committee (the corporate board) oversees the work of AHPRA, the national regulator of the health profession. AHPRA regulates 14 professions and performs the following key functions: -publishes national registers of practitioners so important information about the registration of individual health practitioners is available to the public. -Manages the registration and renewal processes for health practitioners and students around Australia. -Deals with investigations into the professional conduct, performance or health of registered health practitioners -Provides advice to the Ministerial Council about the administration of the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme.

One of the key roles of the Community Advisory Committee is to develop and monitor the hospital’s Community Participation Plan, which aims to increase opportunities for consumer, carers and the community to be involved in their care and provide advice to the Hospital, within a patient centred care approach.
