Hi I'm Jenny Toner. Health, movement and community enthusiast. I am very passionate about mental and physical health, the joy of movement and my community. I believe that these are the pillars of a happy, healthy and well functioning society and I pride myself on being part of the solution. I am empathetic, a great communicator and have some mad dance and circus skills. Having started dance and gymnastics at the age of 4, and being a qualified dance, yoga and aerials instructor for more than 13 years, I have always been a keen movement devotee. At the start of 2023, a chronic injury forced a step back in my dance and aerials career, and I decided to take my love of movement in a (slightly) different direction, returning to university to study Osteopathy.Becoming an Osteopath seemed to me, such a natural career path, as it will allow me to continue to do all the things I love and am great at, such as, helping others, teaching people about movement and their bodies, and making meaningful connections with my community.My goal is to one day be able to incorporate all of my training and passion for osteopathic practice, yoga and dance movement and mental health, to be able to treat patients holistically.I am also a passionate event coordinator, running a national aerial dance competition annually. Coordinating 45 competitors, a backstage crew of 15-20, and an audience of over 250 spectators. I also MC the event each year, having competed in public speaking competitions at school and being school captain in year 12, I am very comfortable on the mic. I absolutely love connecting with the audience, having fun with them and keeping them entertained with silly antics between performances. I am also an avid environmentalist and during covid lockdowns, began a blog and social media channel devoted to helping others become more sustainable and eco-conscious. I also run a Buy-Nothing group for my local community, encouraging a circular economy. #EcoJen I have worked in many allied health and movement industries and have gained numerous qualifications including: Currently undertaking: B.
