Founded in 2017, Midnite Romero Society began as a group of film buffs who wanted to celebrate the life and work of George A. Romero. Yet, as one meeting turned into another, our community grew and we found ourselves making pins, printing tee shirts, hosting public screenings and spreading a passion for cult cinema as well as keeping the memory of the late director undead!Currently, M.R.S works with multiple non-profit groups to build and host their own film programs. We are always in search of new organizations and venues that would like assistance in creating a series. Working alongside the Press office and heads of the school my main task was to upkeep multiple social media accounts. I kept track of many events and students, and collected and analyzed photos for future school programs. By using and understanding multifaceted platforms (for example: Facebook, Twitter, Google, Instagram, Vimeo, Youtube, Tumblr, etc.) we expanded the student base exponentially.
