I love words and puzzles. There’s nothing as satisfying as reading or writing a beautiful sentence or working out a solution to a perplexing problem. I am also passionate about data, rules, and making the world a better place. Working for HUD allows me to apply all of my interests and strengths to improving the quality of life for communities across Wisconsin. My first job in the nonprofit sector was partially funded by a Community Development Block Grant, and 20 years later I now find myself on the other side of table representing HUD by assisting communities with CDBG, HOME, ESG, HOPWA, and CoC grants. Stable and safe housing is a foundational element of physical and behavioral health for everyone. I am guided by my faith through the words of John Wesley: Do all the good you can. By all the means you can. In all the ways you can. In all the places you can. At all the times you can. To all the people you can. As long as ever you can.
