Current• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and consult on short- and long-term online content strategy and editorial content for social channels, blog posts, tweets, status updates, pins, videos and photos. Guide FEMA online presence across social media channels, with the goal of growing visibility and customer engagement within the digital marketing space. Optimize content for search engine visibility, crawlability, indexation and ranking (SEO), ensuring tracking of trends on social media outlets. Generate trend reporting (hot issues, trending topics, social media responses) for senior leadership and press desk, targeting market research and monitoring social media user, influencers, and websites in affected communities, while building a database of identified users. Analyze current digital environment and identify opportunities for shared messaging and content, recognizing unmet organizational and operational needs and suggesting content improvements. Coordinate with Strategy & Messaging teams to establish priorities for social media content and dissemination, ensuring messaging and content development meets FEMA requirements. Reply to correspondence, audit findings, and respond to complex inquiries. Analyze the need from different geographies and populations, and developments, implement and evaluate programmatic initiatives to efficiently and effectively meet the needs. Conduct analytical studies of various issues.
