Development Engineer
Current- Member of the Hard X-Ray Monitor diagnostic system's development team, which includes colleagues from the ITER Organization and other fellow research institutes. My duties encompassed the detailed design of the system; thermal analysis; production of 2D drawings for manufacturing; technical documentation; presentations for design reviews; etc.- Electromagnetic analysis of the optical box of one of ITER's laser diagnostics. Calculation of loads related to specific EM events inside the tokamak, to be used as input for structural analysis.- Overseeing proving trials being carried out on the in-vessel components of the HXRM system. This includes the design of test equipment, coordination of manufacturing of test assemblies, thermal cycling, fitting tests, vibration tests, outgassing tests, etc. - Design and manufacturing of alignment jigs for the installation of ITER's Outer Vessel Steady State Sensors.- Coordination of the manufacturing, inspection, cleaning, and shipping of penetration pipe support structures for ITER- Development of equipment used for testing ITER's in-vessel mineral insulated cables.
