I develop and operationalize disruptive ideas within government, philanthropy, and non-profit settings following my personal ABCs – Authenticity, Boldness, and Curiosity. I’ve spent my career working to solve big social challenges by centering data, developing cross-sector partnerships, and creating innovative solutions. I’m a builder and an achiever, bringing the skills to lead teams, develop strategy, and make tough choices along with the ability to execute and bring new ideas to life. In my current role as CEO of the Rosalynn Carter Institute for Caregivers (RCI), I work to strengthen systems to support the 100+ million family caregivers in the United States, creating a new paradigm where caregivers are centered instead of sidelined. I’m proud to have led the strategic and structural transition of the Institute from an academic entity focused solely on Georgia to a national policy, advocacy, and innovation non-profit. The unexpected cross-sector partnerships I’ve built with organizations like Sesame Workshop and FEMA have been a key driver of our success. Prior to joining the RCI, I served in multiple leadership roles in government and philanthropy, including managing a multi-million dollar budget to operationalize the 5-year “Ending Pandemics in Our Lifetime” initiative at the Skoll Global Threats Fund. I am always interested in connecting with others who share my mission to innovate and disrupt the status quo to solve big problems. Please reach out about opportunities to learn and collaborate.
