Responsibilities• Manage daily administrative and financial operations of Lahey Institute of Urology at NH locations• Oversight of all site operations of multiple specialty practice locations • Responsible for job performance and conduct annual evaluations of support staff• Create and maintain relationships between Lahey Hospital and Medical Center and local community hospitals in the same demographic area, vendors and other external clients• Manage physician outpatient schedule and operating room schedule• Assure high physician productivity between outpatient clinic and the operating room• Create and develop report for leadership on surgical volume monthly • Manage expense approval process, monitor supply utilization and expenses and report on variances to senior leadership• Work collaboratively with Administrative Director and physician leadership to ensure patient access and satisfaction

• Reporting activities through database systems, in order to appropriately route uninsured patients to Financial Counseling for advisement on potential financial assistance• Work with senior administration in regard to Charity Care at Lahey Clinic.• Report to Directors and VP with statistics regarding team performance• Day to day interaction with patients in regard to financial assistance requests• Direct communication with clinic staff (physicians) in order to coordinate care for uninsured patients. Conduct communication of policies and procedures, delegate work assignments, reviews performance and disciplines, and makes jobs offers to staff. Determines when new office procedures are required to respond to changing situations. Develops and implements alternative approaches and solutions that eliminate conflicting tasks or duplication of work. Ensures proper staff coverage when approving requests for time off for holidays, vacations, or for unscheduled absences, etc. Conduct monthly staff meetings with most important issues and review of volumes Collaborates with all direct reports at two different demographic locations to ensure that processes are the sameParticipation in customer service/patient friendly committees• Direct communication with clinic staff (physicians) in order to re-route care for patients whose insurance was out of network• Development/creation of a policy and procedure manual for Financial Counselors• Development of Customer Service Committee specifically to address Patient Financial Services complaints.• Participation in Revenue Cycle teams throughout the Clinic in regard to procedures to improve revenue.• Closely working with clinical departments to develop and improve workflows in regard to elective services, and issues surrounding uninsured and under-insured patients.• Oversee Payroll for direct reports Training and implementation of new software/systems
