Highlights of my career include: ✶ Provided ongoing strategic guidance, oversight, and motivation to a highly engaged team of 10 employees responsible for healthcare provider education, advocacy, government relations, policy analysis, research, stakeholder engagement, and knowledge mobilization.✶ Successfully managed and mitigated strike risks for unionized health sector employees, leading negotiations with unions and ensuring all healthcare employers’ preparedness to deliver service in the event of a strike (2012, 2014, 2019).✶ Serving as SFU’s Lead Negotiator in collective bargaining with Faculty Association within financial mandate set by government, successfully met the goals of both parties, who ratified the collective agreement.✶ Championed the acquisition of a new LMS software to modernize education delivery, expand the audience, and increase dementia awareness.
