Payroll Administrator
Current• Process payroll in a timely and accurate manner, including calculating wages, processing deductions, and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.• Manage all employee timesheets in the system to ensure accurate bi-weekly payroll data.• Complete staffing forms for Human Resources including: new hires, salary changes, job transfers, promotions, terminations, retirements, resignations and leave of absences.• Process and maintain employee payroll records including employee changes, verification of employment and garnishment issues.• Partner with Human Resources managing short-term disability, workers compensation, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), et al.• Compile data from employee personnel records and prepare reports using ADP Workforce Now.• Ensure federal, state and local tax compliance in a multi-state environment.• Actively participate in year-end activities, reconcile and distribute W2 forms as required.• Resolve payroll problems (e.g. missed time, late payments, misclassified employees, etc.).• Respond to employee inquiries and questions regarding payroll. • Participate in payroll audits.
