As Vice President and Head of Human Resources, I am responsible for all of Catalyst’s day to day HR operations and, in addition, for shaping the future of the organization’s People initiatives. I serve as an internal advisor, coach, and thought leader on all aspects related to people and culture. Since I joined Catalyst, I developed a three-year strategic plan to recruit, retain, and develop top talent; in addition, we reduced voluntary turnover -20% while increasing headcount 50%. I created policies and processes for talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation and payroll, employee relations and and talent management. In addition to the executives in the New York office, I provided direct HR support to the teams in London and Bermuda, ensuring compliance with all immigration, compensation and benefits laws. I built a financial model to track headcount and compensation expenses which was distributed to Senior Management weekly. I owned the administration of our compensation plans (carried interest, SARs and Employee Share Plans) including amendments to the plan documents and implemented an on-line Fidelity platform used by shareholders for tracking and selling shares.
