As Vice President and Head of Human Resources, I am responsible for all of Catalyst’s day to day HR operations and, in addition, for shaping the future of the organization’s People initiatives. I serve as an internal advisor, coach, and thought leader on all aspects related to people and culture. Since I joined Catalyst, I developed a three-year strategic plan to recruit, retain, and develop top talent; in addition, we reduced voluntary turnover -20% while increasing headcount 50%. This year, we transitioned HR Operations (Payroll, Benefits and Compliance) to a PEO so that the HR team could to focus on partnering with leaders throughout the organization to develop effective strategies for delivering a compelling employee value proposition to enhance employee inclusion and engagement. In addition, I led the organizations adoption of the OKR model for managing by objective.

In 2016, I began the iPEC ICF-certified Coach Training Program and through a series of events, I met Founder Bruce D Schneider and the leadership team and became iPEC's Chief Operating Officer. I had responsibility for the operations of the organization, including Faculty, Student Support, compliance, logistics, sourcing, human resources and office management. In 18 months, my accomplishments included consolidating faculty and adjunct faculty functions into one department, modernizing the student experience by implementing a new centralized online platform including Zoom webinar functionality, incorporating graduate programming into the Coach Training Program, bringing employee benefits and time and attendance tracking online and updating all areas of Compliance.

After separating from Goldman Sachs, we formed, built, and cultivated all Human Resources functions for our new start-up. I created policies and processes for talent acquisition, workforce planning, compensation and payroll, employee relations and and talent management. In addition to the executives in the New York office, I provided direct HR support to the teams in London and Bermuda, ensuring compliance with all immigration, compensation and benefits laws. I built a financial model to track headcount and compensation expenses which was distributed to Senior Management weekly. I owned the administration of our compensation plans (carried interest, SARs and Employee Share Plans) including amendments to the plan documents and implemented an on-line Fidelity platform used by shareholders for tracking and selling shares.

For the better part of 18 years, I had the opportunity to work across the globe. Starting as an Analyst in New York, I then moved to Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and Bangalore India. Over the years, I served in several leadership roles: Chief of Staff to the Head of Human Capital Management (HCM) in the APAC region and then to the Head of HCM EMEA , Vice President Alumni Relations (part of the firm’s Executive Office) and then Head of India Reward and HR Operations.
